Notes on the program of the Governor of Victoria.
The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council; and later departed on an official tour of Central Goldfields Shire.
The Governor opened the U3A Biennial Conference; and received members of Victoria Police involved in the Middle Park 2014 incident and their families. The Governor later received Ms Helen Kapalos, Chair of the Victorian Multicultural Commission; and swore in Ms Jane Dixon QC as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
The Governor hosted a reception for World War II veterans and their carers at Government House and then attended the End of WWII Commemoration Service at the Shrine of Remembrance.
The Governor hosted a luncheon for the 2015 Melbourne Indian Film Festival.
The Governor visited the Royal Women's Hospital; and later received a call from The Hon. Telmo Languiller MP, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. The Governor also hosted a reception at Government House for the 2015 Premier's Award for Health and Medical Research presentation.
The Governor received a call from The Hon. Bruce Atkinson MLC, President of the Legislative Council.
The Governor presided at a meeting of the Executive Council. Later, she visited Wooranna Park Primary School and also toured SRX Global in Dandenong.
The Governor visited Vasey RSL Aged Care facility in Brighton East; and received a call from Mr Ben Hubbard, Director of YMCA Victoria.
The Governor attended the Rumbalara Football Club 9th Annual Unity Cup in Shepparton; and later attended the 2015 Melbourne International Film Festival Centrepiece Gala.
The Governor visited the Royal Children's Hospital.
